Forgotten or lost your password
Contact Crawford by email to webadmin@crawford.co.nz Crawford will not provide password information over the phone or replying to emails. Instead, we will send you an auto generated email detailing this information to the email address specified in your login.

I need access to ClaimNet, how do I get it?
Speak with your supervisor or boss at work, they most likely are a user manager and can create a login for you. Failing that you will need to contact Crawford via email to webadmin@crawford.co.nz

ClaimNet system "down", not working properly or any other technical support
Contact Crawford immediately so that our IT staff can look at it. Send full details of the problem via email to webadmin@crawford.co.nz or telephone+61 (0)3 0000 0000

If the problem relates to a particular claim, please include the Crawford reference and insured name.

Client code for login
The client code for login is a 3 letter code, eg xyz (the old format with the triple zero will still work though eg xyz000). Client codes such as xyzsyg will not work.

If you are having troubles logging in, just send an email to  webadmin@crawford.co.nz and will email you your login details.

Case sensitive
The username and client code in the login are not case sensitive, only the password is case sensitive there. When searching within ClaimNet, search criteria is not case sensitive.

Logging out
The logout feature is a "proper" logout and using Back will not take you back to previous screens. You also get logged out 4 hours after you last used ClaimNet.

Cookies
Cookies need to be turned on. If your Internet Explorer has its cookie settings set to block all cookies, you will not be able to log onto ClaimNet.

My active claims
If you are not seeing any claims when clicking on My Active Claims:

* another contact officer may have been assigned to the claim(s)
* the claim may have been assigned to a group or team, not an individual
* or you have been assigned but your ClaimNet username may not exactly match the one used on the claim (as ClaimNet and the Crawford internal claims management system are quite different systems).

In either case, contact the appropriate Crawford office to sort it out for you.

Adobe Acrobat
The majority of files in ClaimNet are in pdf format. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view them. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free and extremely useful program.

It can be downloaded from:http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Images and zipped files
Some claims may have photos that will be in .jpg format. There alre also some claims that have zip files and in .zip format. You will need an appropriate program to open these. In the event you don't have one of these, you could search the Internet for a freeware program.

Detailed search options
The options that are displayed in the Detailed search combo boxes are based on all the possible values that claims for all your client codes could be (all the client codes that you could have access to, not just those that have been currently selected). This is for your benefit so you don't waste your time fruitlessly searching. For example, for Aircaft damage claim types, if there isn't going to be any it won't appear in the Claim type combo box.
